Manuel Benancio, also known as Kembec, is a product and technology leader from Peru. He currently works as a CTO, leading across product, technology, operations, and organizational design for connectivity and IoT products built on an MVNO platform. He previously co-founded and was CTO of Syma — POS and electronic invoicing for the Peruvian market under SUNAT compliance rules. Intellectual property sold in 2023. He has worked as a technology consultant since 2020. Alongside his executive work he maintains seven open-source Model Context Protocol servers and five public applications, and writes about product operating models, platform strategy, and what changes in organizations when implementation becomes cheap.
